Kind of like an indoor Chinese food cart place. They have a assortment of noodles or rice with your selection of compliments. Would definitely recommend it if you are one of those people who hate waiting for their food.

I love this type of food! Granted I've had better, but for what we got, it was good. The curry fish balls were probably the best thing from what we ordered. The ham and egg sandwich was pretty similar to hong kong, but not quite there... I would steer clear of the imitation shark fin soup though. That was bland and flavorless. They somehow ran out of milk tea... which was disappointing, but their ribena + lemon more than made up for it!

This place gets 1 star for the food and then an extra star for the ribena drink. The curry fish balls were decent but extremely tiny in portion and size. The shark fin soup as well their spam sandwich was bland. The only redeeming factor is the nice cold ribena drink (black currant juice with lemon) and perhaps the nice open comfortable seating arrangement inside. If you want food, I recommend going elsewhere.

1 star less because this place brings out the worst in me and turns me into a fat ape.I love eating here. Probably loaded with MSG but I don't really care. MSG in small quantities is not bad for you if at all. In fact...your tongue has special taste buds for MSG in addition to salt, sweet, sour etc. I hate purported stupid urban myths.Anyway...I always get 2 things when I come here..Ramen with spinach, beef stew, tofu, curry squid, curry fish balls, fish cake, and 2 eggs along with a saucy egg and pork over rice. SO. FREAKING GOOD. Drizzle some sesame oil in your noodles. and omg heaven.I've been back many times and will continue to be back. So freaking good.

Now I'm a huge fan of noodles and the whole idea of choosing your meal under your own budget. Each day you can eat something different and choose something different, it's the smartest idea ever! The food here is great but I do have to admit I haven't tried all the other things on the menu besides the noodles so hopefully when I do, its better than expected. I haven't had any trouble with the drinks here either. Now the only problem I have with this place is it has become slightly overpriced from when i first came here. I could have gotten a decent bowl of noodle soup for under 5 and it'll be filling butt now I have to pay a little more but eh.Also they do have wonderful young ladies here who always serve with a smile so service is much better than other places.

Every food item is probably loaded with MSG, but that still doesn't stop me from coming here and enjoying all their tasty and cheap food items...Been coming here for years, and I used to order their "pick a noodle and add toppings" item, but lately I have been returning back and ordering their other lesser known items, some of my favorites are:1) sticky rice- ample amount of sticky rice with chinese sausage and peanuts for the crunch factor2) Their rice with Meat sauce with egg - Taiwanese style item3) Hong kong style milk tea- I love the way they make their milk tea, really sweet with the condensed milk and creme4) the condensed milk and peanut butter sandwich- bread is crustless and the combination of the two makes this item a great dessertin addition after a certain time at like 4 or 5pm, they are outside serving their curry fishballs as to-go items and when you walk by, the aroma alone will make you stop and buy these tempting goodies.

The best part is the fish patties - so good. The curry fish ball is not bad but you can get better fish balls from the couple on Canal Street. Didn't try their noodles, way over priced.

It's been a year since I've been back. Not much has changed. Only gotten worse. Perhaps it was the time of the day, 5.30pm..but alot of ppl were just hanging out.For the price of tea, $2. you can sit and watch the big screen tv. Even if you didnt order, and just waiting for your friends, you can play cards or exchange cards with your friends, while trying to keep warm. Even the cleaning lady...and she doesnt much clean, just clears the tables, will sit and join in a conversation with you. (Is she a relative of the owner?)They have the vegetables that they will put in boil water, sitting on the floor in a pan. Gross.Signs for drinks are outdated. Honey tea wasnt available a year ago and still isnt available a year later. For $7, 3 ingredients in soup, you can get a much better deal elsewhere in Chinatown.

This would have been five stars, but I'll get to that later...The moment I stepped into HK Station, I was giddy. Not only did this place have spam (that's right - one of my favorite "meats"), it had sandwich choices that involved condensed milk. Alas, if only my stomach was bigger. When you enter, you should proceed to the back. Straight ahead is where you order food. The left hand side allows you to order drinks (like bubble tea). They have special combo meals, or you can do your own thang! I went for a custom bowl of ramen noodle soup. For my toppings, I chose Spam, fried egg, curry fish balls and spinach (at least something should be green in there). Absolutely delish. If I lived closer, I would be a reg here. Now - for that one lost star that got cut - I had a slight problem with the messy tables. I dig the cafeteria-style. However, customers should be required to clean up after themselves, or the employees should clean in a timely fashion. The place isn't too spacious, so seating is in high demand. I hate to say it - you know some people can be ... um ... sloppy. At least give me the option to clean up after myself.

Make your own noodles! My noodles were perfectly cooked, and the beef tendon topping was tender and delicious. I only got one topping, but it could get really pricey if you were to load up your noodle bowl. They have Spam as a topping, so they automatically win in my book.I liked the HK milk tea. It was sweeter than what you would drink in HK, but since I usually sweeten mine, it was perfect for me. Very creamy. The lunch specials sounded really good, so I will probably come back to try one of them.

NO WAY!!!Don't get me wrong, I LOVE HK-style food, but this is definitely NOT what I imagined.-HK milk tea - too sweet with no bitterness and no tea taste. What was I drinking?--HK style rice noodle - gag, rice noodle texture is horrible. The mixed sauce gave me an awkward taste which I can't even describe. I didn't even want to swallow the rice noodle down my throat. It was that bad!---Some Curry chicken wing special noodle soup - no curry taste. The picture of this dish against the wall looked so appealing but yet it came out being nothing like it. False advertising!!----Crispy Fish Skin - WOW, surprisingly deeelicious. This was probably the only highlight of our meal!! ::NOD:: This caused me to give them an EXTRA star lolI am not full and not satisfied. It does not even feel like I am eating HK-style food at all. You get both small portions and high prices for the MEH food that they serve. I'll pass the next time I can't think of anything to eat in Chinatown.

I used to come here almost everyday before the place got renovated and before the price height. I used to get the curry fish ball with another meat and always had them add the sauce from the beef stew for extra flavoring to the soup and a side of their hk style milk tea. ..this was back then..recently, I got their hk style milk tea and the flavor and mixture changed dramatically. The coffee versus the milk tea portions are off and overall it was too creamy. I recommended my friend to get it and we both end up with stomach ache and feeling nausea after drinking it.For the price, I rather go to bakery than here.

It was a bit too pricey for the amount of food given. I could have made it at home and put more toppings. It was overall, a disappointing trip. By the way, DO NOT get the green tea shake. It seems more like a chinese noodle lounge, very interesting. The noodles are very good and the toppings are very delicious. I remember 5 years ago when I would come here with my best friend and we would always add two orders of spicy fish ball to spice up our soup. The broth they have had never seem to disappoint me. HK Station is supposedly known for their custom noodle bowls, but I've never gotten noddles. This place is great for fast cheap lunch meals. Their rice dishes are cheap and delicious. There is always seating available and no waiting staff and very little wait time for ordering. The saucy pork rice, satay beef rice etc. are only $4 each and the spicy chicken fried rice $5.75. That's a really good deal for a very satisfying meal. The noodles are supposedly more expensive since the ingredients can add up.

Ok, I admit...I come here often. What can I say....$4 can buy you a meal!Saucy pork & egg: This is the reason why I come back. $4 (4.5/5)Sticky Rice: Pretty good as well (4/5)Noodles: I've made my own combo once, but you can make any noodles/combinationsOnly downside: The crowd. Let me explain:1) Middle schoolers/high schoolers/I really hope not college kids, but these people play Magic cards almost every weeknight or weekend. I'm actually surprised Magic cards still exist. Bravo.2) May not be a downside (Cause it's actually pretty cool...) whenever there is a Knicks' game here, all of Chinatown comes here. It gets so packed that people stand outside to watch through the window. Talk about dedicated to the once Linsanity...Last thing I want to add, they tacked on JLIN to their Bubble Milk Tea to call it JLIN Milk Tea. Best marketing strategy ever...Jokes aside, try this place when you get a chance. out.

Despite the prices, I love this place and I always get the gong zi mian (ramen noodles) with spam, fish dumplings, petite sausages, one egg, and veggies with a couple spoons of garlic paste. Granted, I can make this at home for a hell lot cheaper, but I sometimes still make a stop here to get a bowl of noodles because, honestly, it's just that much better.Other times, I get the zha jiang fan (saucy meat and egg with rice, which is much cheaper than getting noodles) to-go and when I finally do eat it, it still tastes great (after I microwave it, of course). They recently started putting the zha jiang fan in bigger boxes, so the saucy meat doesn't soak into the rice as much. PLUS POINTS.The milk tea boba here is pretty good. They use condensed milk, so it's much sweeter than the other milk teas in the area, but it's still yum. Boba isn't too chewy, too hard, or too mushy, which is a great thing for me.Oh, and I've yet to try the curry fish balls. They recently set up a booth right outside specifically to sell the curry fish balls and the smells attract my stomach each time! Have to get them soon.Overall, my advice is that if you choose to eat noodles here, limit yourself to two to three toppings before your bowl of noodle soup costs more than you'd expect.

Curry Fish Ball Review only --Recently, I spotted that HK Station served curry fish balls - outside of their shop. How convenient! Ordered it once and I got hooked ever since. There's a ginormous pot of fish balls and beef balls cooking and there's a small pot for the spicy version. I only order the fish balls and they're $1.50 for 5 which isn't such a bad deal since they add on hot oil and spicy seasoning to give it a kick. The fish balls are also plump and has that bouncy texture to it. Eat it while it's fresh because if you wait 15-30 minutes later the balls deflates and shrinks and that's just no bueno.

I love this place. Having your own selections of toppings and noodles is the most simplest thing you can have here. Everything tastes fresh and nothing can beat having varieties of toppings to eat. However, keep track of how many toppings you choose since it adds up. I believe it's around 2.25 for the noodles (there's udon, rice stick noodles, etc) and the toppings are around the same price as well. You can choose from beef tripe, veggies, radish, mushrooms, and more.I love the shark fin soup here as well. They have lunch specials as well. Combinations of condensed milk and a drink and much more.I know the owner here and this place is clean and great seating, theres always enough seats. In the winter time, recently, they have hot steamy curry and regular fishballs for about $1.50 for 5 or 6 on a stick. They have bubble tea and smoothies here, but I never tried it.Highly recommend. Great selections of food! Great place to sit down and chit chat for however long you want.

Everything is tasty, just a bit overpriced. Its one of the few places in Chinatown that you don't have to tip so a lot of teenagers go there often. Great place to watch a soccer game. They even had a ticketed event on New Year's Eve that quite a few people attended. The owner is pretty creative.I always order their saucy pork & egg over rice. Also spicy satay beef with egg over rice. They now have a weekday special, 2:30pm - 6:30pm for $3.50 includes soda, bottled water or a small hot drink. Pretty good since they used to charge more. I usually get the honey herbal tea or almond drink.Their fish & curry fish balls are so addicting! Had the beef balls last time, but it wasn't hot enough. I think the temperature in the pot is hot enough for the fish balls, but not enough for the beef. Tried the fried fish the other day. It was okay. Came with a spiked MSG soup for $3.50. Also like their $2 Curry in a box. It comes with 2 curry fish balls, rice, with spicy, curry sauce.Their green tea smoothie is also very good. When they had their Anniversary, they gave out stamp cards. Not sure if theres an expiration date on them. Standard 10 stamps and you get a free drink. Avoid their ginger scallion noodles, way too oily. Felt like I drank a cup of oil. They actually hire a person to remove the packaging from the noodles all day. Talk about carpal tunnel right there...
